Knoll Makes First Team All Region

KSCB News - April 3, 2012 12:47 pm

After a sophomore season in which she led her Seward
County Lady Saints to yet another 20 win season, Seward County forward
Ashlynn Knoll has been named 1st Team All-Region. Knoll led the Lady
Saints in both scoring and rebounding for the second straight season
this year, averaging 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest despite
being slowed by injuries. It is the second straight season that Knoll
was honored by the region after she was a 2nd team selection as a
freshman a year ago. She joins a pair of Hutchinson Lady Blue Dragons
and Tamara Jones of Garden City as the West members on the 1st Team
while Diara Moore of Independence was the only Jayhawk East
representative on the regions elite squad.
