Aggie Football Home Opener Approaches

By Justine Gaskamp on 09/07/2014

Goodwell, Okla.-The gates of Carl Wooten Field will swing open this weekend
as the OPSU Aggies host their first home football game of the 2014 season
Saturday, Sept. 13 against Fort Lewis College.

Aggie fans have five home games to look forward to this year and season
tickets are still available for those who prefer reserved chair-back
seating. A private entrance on the north side of the stadium will be open
for quick entry of season ticket holders.

The Mazzio’s Zone is another great seating option, offering free admission
to fans that bring their own chair, sofa, bean bag, et al. Located in the
East end zone, the Mazzio’s Zone also has a private entrance on the
southeast side of the stadium. Free pizza will be given out during the first
quarter to the rowdiest fans in the Zone, so people are encouraged to come
early to ensure a spot.

All OPSU students, faculty and staff receive free admission and must show
valid campus ID at the gate prior to entering the stadium. Ticket prices for
the 2014 football games are as follows: adults $7, children 5-12, senior
citizens and members of the military (active, retired, or reserve) $3, and
children under five are admitted free.

Fans are reminded that no alcohol or tobacco products are permitted on the
OPSU campus, and no pets are allowed inside the stadium.

Panhandle Printing is the official sponsor of the Aggies’ first home
football game and the first four hundred fans through the gates will receive
a free t-shirt to show off their Aggie pride. Excitement is in the air and
great football is on the way!
