Garden City Sweeps Liberal at Rosel

Garden City improved to 8-0 in softball sweeping winless Liberal 20-0 and 19-2 Tuesday at Rosel Field in Liberal. Jordan Urban had a hit in game one. Garden City scored nine in the second. Emily Casteneda lined a single over the second baseman’s head to score Liberal’s two runs in that second game. Garden scored 16 in the fourth. Liberal is 0-10 and 0-4 in the WAC. Liberal hosts Wichita Southeast Friday at Rosel Field. The JV games begin at 2 and varsity follows.
