Rattlers Rally for Runner Up Finish
08/05/2014

The 13 year old Cimarron River Rattlers made quite a run Monday afternoon at Brent Gould Field.  After trailing West Fargo, North Dakota 11-6 after five and 12-8 after six, the Rattlers rallied to tie the game in the seventh and win it 17-12 in eight innings.  Then they jumped all ove Booneville, Missouri for seven runs in the first inning of the championship game.  But the Rattlers just ran out of gas as Booneville rallied for a 17-7 win in five innings to win the Midwest Plains Regional.  Jett Brown won the WOW award in the West Fargo game and Cesar Burciaga was the MVP.  In the Booneville game, Burciaga won the WOW and Brodie Warren was the MVP.  Elijah McCarter, Cesar Burciaga, Alex Yanez, and Jett Brown were named to the all tournament team.
