LHS Softball Drops Two at Kingman

The LHS softball team played a pair at Kingman on Saturday. On a cold day with temperatures in the 40’s to begin the day, LHS lost 12-5 to Kingman before dropping game two 11-0 to Hesston.
In game one against the Kingman Eagles, Miley Janko pitched two innings with three strikeouts. LHS had six hits. Zoey Torres pitched five innings.
In game two against the Hesston Swathers, Torres pitched three innings and Janko went two innings. Liberal had just two hits.
Liberal is 2-2 and plays at Great Bend April 2.
