Liberal junior tennis player Evelin Tarango is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Tarango is 19-7 this season.  She went 10-2 against WAC opponents.  Tarango qualified for 6A state Friday in the 6A West Regional at Garden City.  She will compete at state Friday in Olathe.  Tarango is also involved in soccer and the Community Club at LHS.
