The Liberal Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Duck Festival” Saturday at Light Park in Liberal.  There will be food, fun and festivities all day long culminating with the “Duck Race” at 2:00pm. Scheduled throughout the day will be Trike Races, Ducky Downs, a 1 mile, 5K and Cornhole Tournament as well.  There will be fun for the whole family.  The festivities get underway starting at 10:00 am.  There will be several vendors scattered throughout Light Park.

In conjunction with the Festival the Seward County United Way will host a Chili and Taco Cook Off. Several teams have already signed up. If you would like to enter, call 620-624-5400. Tasting kits will be available at the event.  The United Way will be drawing for the 2025 Jeep Wrangler immediately following the Duck Race.

Ducks will be available for purchase for $10 each, a 6 “Quack” for $50, or 13 for $100, throughout the day as well.  The Duck Festival pays out a total $10,000 in prize money.  For more information call the Liberal Chamber of Commerce at 620-624-3855.
