Hugoton has been 6-3 in each of the past three seasons.  That is indicative of a very solid and consistent football program.  But when you talk to 5th year head coach Jay Witt and his Eagles, they are eager to break the six win barrier.

Hugoton has 54 out for football at the 3A school.  They have eight starters back on both sides of the ball.

Some of the key Eagles are Sr. QB/FS Miguel Hernandez, Sr. RB/CB Hunter Garza, Jr. FB/LB Isia Gardano, Sr. WR/OLB Hunter Burrows, Sr. lineman Riley Pennington, Sr. RB Jair Saldano, and Sr. TE/DE Von Grubbs.

The Eagles were featured during Sportsguys Friday morning.

The Eagles play three of their first four on the road and three of their last four at home.
