Flipping Pancake Day Makes Hollywood Debut

Flipping Pancake Day, the short film about the 75th International Pancake Day, made its film festival debut, Thursday evening.

The screening was held at the iconic Chinese Mann Theatre on Hollywood Blvd as part of this year’s Dances With Films festival!

From Liberal Native and Director, Ben Scatlin:

“For nearly 30 years, this festival has celebrated truly independent filmmaking, and it has always been a dream of mine to see one of my films on that legendary screen. I still remember attending Dances With Films when I first arrived in Hollywood and telling myself that someday I would have a film there. I could not be happier that it is a film about my hometown.

Even better, Hollywood – the city I now call home – will be the very first place to screen our film in a festival. I cannot wait to see Liberal and our incredible Pancake Day tradition showcased on the big screen for everyone to experience.”
