Seward County You Drink. You Drive. You Lose. Statistics

Joe Denoyer - September 8, 2022 2:00 pm

During the You Drink. You Drive. You Lose. campaign just completed, Seward County Sheriff’s Office conducted overtime saturation patrols to aggressively enforce Kansas impaired driving laws. During the campaign, deputies made 7 impaired driving arrests and wrote 10 safety belt citations, 30 speeding citations, and 65 other citations and arrests. 197 vehicle stops were made during the campaign.

According to Sergeant Bo Jacobs, if you were stopped you hopefully learned from your experience. You can count on this department to vigorously enforce impaired driving and other traffic laws, not just during this enforcement campaign but all through the year. We enforce traffic laws because those laws help everyone that we share the road with.
We will continue to do so because, while the You Drink. You Drive. You Lose. campaign may be over; removing impaired drivers from our roads will continue.

The You Drink. You Drive. You Lose. campaign was sponsored by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
