Ulysses Man Involved in Thomas County Accident

On Monday February 21st, at approximately 10:12am, a 2009 Peterbilt semi, being driven by David Heredia, 39 of Ulysses, was Northbound on K-25 near County Road N. in Thomas County. A 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass being driven by Lance Colvin, 61, of Burlington Colorado was leaving a residence traveling westbound just north of County Road N. Colvin failed to yield and was struck by the semi. The semi came to a rest in the Northbound lane of K-25, while the Cutlass came to rest east of the ditch on the east side of K-25 facing northeast.

Heredia was not injured in the accident, however Colvin and a passenger in his vehicle, 72 year old Phillip Northcutt of Burlington Colorado were taken to Citizens Medical Center in Colby to be treated for minor injuries.
