Vegetation Fires Flare Up in Seward County

Seward County Fire  responded to a vegetation fire at Road 14 and Road T at 10:55pm and units arrived on scene to find a roadside fire, extinguished by 1 engine.

Then at 11:21pm the Fire Department responded to a fire in a wheat field at Road Y and Road 17. Meade County also responded and assisted.

SCFD responded with 1 engine, 2 attack trucks, 2 water tenders, 2 chief officers and 6 firefighters to both incidents. Cause is undetermined, but suspicious in nature. No injuries were reported
