Free COVID-19 Testing Available over the Holiday Weekend, Website Launch

Joe Denoyer - December 24, 2020 7:45 am

The Seward County Health Department COVID-19 Testing Site will be closed Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25. If you need to get tested for COVID-19, the testing site will be open Saturday and Sunday (December 26 and 27) from 8:30-12:00. No appointment is necessary. Signs are posted at the county’s testing site at the Ag Building (1501 W 8thStreet, Liberal).

Throughout this pandemic, Seward county has worked to provide the public with as much information through as many channels as possible. Recently, large highway signs have been placed around town with reminders of critical steps that can be taken to help slow the spread of this virus. Now, the Emergency Operations Center is launching an informational website ConnectSeward.net. This site will house  local testing numbers, the COVID Scorecard, and key information about testing, symptoms, best practices, and frequently asked questions.
