Liberal Chamber to Host a “Wrap a Lamp” Decorating Contest

Lamp posts in downtown Orange are each uniquely decorated for the holiday by local businesses on Saturday evening.

The Liberal Chamber of Commerce is encouraging businesses, local clubs/organizations, families and individuals to enter their “Wrap a Lamp Contest. Participants must sign-up at the Chamber of Commerce office, Monday – Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm, to obtain a downtown lamp post and decorating instructions before November 30th.  Decorating can begin anytime after registering and must be completed by December 2nd.

Contest prizes will be awarded with 1st place receiving a $100 gift certificate, 2nd place a $50 gift certificate, and 3rd place a $25 gift certificate. So, join in the fun and wrap a lamp to help make Liberal look a little more festive for the Holidays.
