COVID-19 Numbers for October 21, 2020

The latest statistics released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties for Wednesday October 21st show Seward County has had 2010 individuals test results have come back positive for Coronavirus. 1779 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19 with 11 deaths reported. The increase in deaths is due to an influx of of covid-related deaths that have occured over a period of time, but just being released today by the Dept. Of Vital Statistics and the KDHE.

Southwest Medical reports current hospitalizations at 10 which includes out of county residents being treated at SWMC. Total active cases in Seward County are 231.

Around the area, Stevens County has 211 positives,193 recovered, and 1 death. Haskell County 158 positives, 139 recovered, and 1 death, Morton County has 40 positives, 26 recovered cases , and 2 deaths, Grant County has 410 positive 359 recovered, and 8 deaths, Meade County has 157 positives 148 have recovered, and 1 death, Stanton County has 88 positives 76 recovered, and 2 deaths Ford County has 3,313 positive cases, and Finney County has 2,454 positive cases. Beaver County 82 positives, 70 recovered, and 1 death, Texas County has 1741 positive tests with 1641 recoveries and 10 deaths.
