LHS Hosts Homecoming 2020 Style

Brock Kappelmann - October 2, 2020 6:07 am

Liberal High School hosts their 2020 fall homecoming Friday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  There is no parade or dance this year due to the corona virus.  However, there will be a fireworks show after the game thanks to Equity Bank.

The homecoming ceremony takes place at halftime of the football game between Liberal and Garden City.  The game kicks off at 7 and can be heard on 1270 and kscbnews.net.  The king candidates are Dammion Brown, Alex Lopez, Jack Maxwell, Erich Ortiz, and Malcolm Wiltshire.  The queen candidates are Reece Hay, Nevaeh Hickey, Kimberly Le, Teja Sieber, and Priscilla Vasquez.

Due to corona virus, 25 percent attendance of the six thousand seat Cornelsen Sports Complex is allowed.
