USD 480 Board Meets, Approves the Requirement of Masks and Temperature Checks

The USD 480 Board met Monday evening and on action items approved the purchase of Spanish textbooks and ancillary materials from McGraw-Hill in the amount of $10,079.01 and Cengage Learning in the amount of $30,180.40.

The Board also removed the Chromebook bag (carrying case) and Microfiber cloth from the handbooks, as the District  will no longer be providing these items.

Discussion on face masks/gating criteria for staff and students was also held in regards to the upcoming school year. It was approved that masks will be required for all students, staff, administration and visitors while on school property. Temperature checks will also be taken before entering school facilities.

The Board Also approved raises for classified staff with a 1.65% pay increase and administration a 1.5% increase for the 20-21 school year.
