Liberal City Commission Meets, Approves Asphalt Rejuvenation Application Project

The Liberal City Commission met on Wednesday at 3:00pm at City Hall.

Commissioners approvedr the acceptance of a $7,500 Grant from KDHE to purchase containers for the Solid Waste Department and the purchase of a 84″ Bobcat attachment from White Star in the amount of $10,956.48. This would be for the Street Department.

A donation of a deed and bill of sale from Diamond Services Company to the City was approved as was the appointment of John West to the Library Board.

The Liberal City Commission approved a Real Estate Contract between the City of Liberal and Liberal New Iron and Metal LLC, which is now under new ownership.

In added items, the Commissioners approved Resolution 2333 regarding CARES ACT Funding and approved the Asphalt Rejuvenation Application Project in the amount of $90,310.32.
