City of Guymon Starts to Re-open

Joe Denoyer - June 15, 2020 2:28 pm

Re-Opening of Guymon City Hall/Library/Golf Course

With the lapse of the Guymon Proclamation which was issued on May 18, 2020, the City of Guymon is happy to announce the following facility openings.

 Sunset Hills Golf Course will open Monday, June 15th.
 Guymon City Hall will open Tuesday, June 16th.
 Guymon Public Library will open Tuesday, June 16th.

The Guymon Fire Stations and the Guymon Police Station will remain closed to the public for both the protection of the City of Guymon Employees and citizens. These employees have an unusually high contact rate with COVID-19 infected individuals and a higher degree of cautions is needed.

Even though these facilities are open to the public, COVID-19 protection policies will be in place. The City of Guymon is requesting citizens and visitors wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines of maintaining a separation of six feet between you and the next person. The only door which will be open to the public will be the front door of City Hall and the main entrance at the Library. By following these simple guidelines, we hope to avoid a resurgence of this illness in the future.
