Liberal City Commission Meets Approves Submittal of 2020 Block Grant

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening and approved Resolution 2332 which allows for the submittal of a 2020 Community Development Block Grant.
The Commission also heard an update from the Focus on the Future Committee, and discussed Adventure Bay Family WaterPark. The water park is scheduled to open June 19th

Charitable funding was also discussed by the Commission.

The Commission approved a Land Purchase Agreement with Liberal New Iron and Metal and approved the Storm Sewer Project for a new playground with King Enterprises in the amount of $49,985.

The City and USD 480 tabled the Conveyance of Real Property from USD 480.

Municipal Court was also given the go ahead to purchase Tyler Court Software, Hardware and Service in the amount of $89,982.00
