Joe Denoyer - May 18, 2020 3:29 pm

The Administration at Seward County just received information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department of Ag that they will formally withdraw their request to compost hogs at the Seward County Landfill at tonight’s meeting of the Seward County Commission. The KDHE and Department of Ag stated that out of respect for the community, and the feedback they have received from the citizens of Seward County, will be pursuing other options. Both entities expressed gratitude for the input received concerning this matter.
