Liberal Man is 1st Death in Seward County due to COVID-19, Numbers Update for May 13th

The latest statistics released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties as of on Wednesday May 13, show Seward County has had 743 individuals test results have come back positive for Coronavirus. 263 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19. One death has now been confirmed of a Seward County man.

Around the area, Stevens County has 25 positive cases Haskell County 16 positive cases, Morton County has 4 positive cases , Grant County has 13 positive cases, Meade County has 22 positive cases , Ford County has 1,232 positive cases, Stanton County has 8 positive cases, and Finney County has 1101 positive cases. Beaver County has 19 positive cases while Texas County has 474 positive tests.

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19

Seward County – 19 hospitalized
Ford County – 14 hospitalized
Finney County – 11 hospitalized
Stevens County – 2 hospitalized
Stanton County – 1 hospitalized
Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.

Kansas has had 7,468 positive cases, 50,160 negative cases, with a total of 165 deaths.
In Oklahoma 4,852 individuals have tested positive, 104,275 negative and 278 individuals have died from Coronavirus
