Seward County Sheriff’s Officers Investigate Non-Injury Accident

On Tuesday May 12th,at approximately 1:42pm, Deputies of the Seward County Sheriff Office came upon a non-injury accident at the intersection of 7th and Clay, in Liberal. Nadia Cardova, from Lees Summit, MO, was driving a 2018 Ford Fusion and was stopped at the traffic light facing westbound on 7th Street. Manuel Torres of Liberal, was driving a 2018 Dodge R25 Pickup (City Vehicle), when he struck the rear of Cardova’s vehicle while the light was still red. Torres was cited for following to close. There were no injuries and both vehicles had minor damage.
