Coronavirus Numbers in Seward County Hit 472, Hospitalizations Few

The lastest statistics released by the Seward County Health Department show, 1260 test have been performed throughout Seward County. Of those 1260, 472 individuals test results have come back positive. 575 tests have come back Negative. There are still 177 tests pending, out of County positive tests are now at 32. 7 individuals so far have recovered from COVID 19. No deaths have been reported.

Around the area, Stevens County has 9 positive cases compared to 74 negative cases, Haskell County 7 positive cases and 29 negative cases, Morton County has 3 positive cases and 20 negative cases, Grant County has 5 positive case and 34 negative cases, Meade County has 3 positive cases 28 negative cases, Ford County has 600 positive cases with 854 negative cases, Stanton County has 5 positive cases, 11 negative cases and Finney County has 270 positive cases and 265 negative cases. Cimarron County has 1 positive case, Beaver County has 5 positive cases while Texas County has 119 positive tests. Ochiltree County/Perryton TX has reported 19 positive cases

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19

Seward County – 8 hospitalized
Ford County – 5 hospitalized
Finney County – 6 hospitalized
Some of these individuals have been released from the hospital.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 3738 positive tests, 25,720 negative tests, and 125 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 3473 positive tests, 57,794 negative tests, and 214 deaths have been attributed to the Coronavirus.
