Kansas Turns Blue on April 3 for Child Abuse Prevention

Joe Denoyer - March 19, 2020 3:06 pm

Liberal, Kansas–Recognized nationally as Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month, April is also a time to help families and our community thrive.

We invite all to join Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL), the Kansas chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, for Wear Blue Day in support of Kansas children and the great childhoods they deserve. April 3 is Wear Blue Day across the nation.

There are many ways that people can get involved in child abuse prevention. Some suggestions include planting a pinwheel garden to raise awareness; sharing your talents and time to help create better, brighter futures for children and families; or advocating for family-friendly workplace policies. All of these actions help to make a big difference in a child’s life– and a parent’s as well.

If you are interested in additional information about how you can be involved, please contact Kansas Children’s Service League, 620.604.5020.
