Groundbreaking to be Held for US 54 T-Works Project

The Kansas Department of Transportation invites the public to help  celebrate the groundbreaking of a delayed T-WORKS project to expand U.S. 54 from two lanes to four lanes east of Liberal. This $27 million project also includes the construction of a second bridge over the Cimarron River. The ceremony will take place on Friday, March 6th at Panhandle Road and U.S. 54, northeast of Liberal at the former rest area.
