Dodge City Woman Dies in Wichita Accident

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Dodge City woman died from her injuries in a Wednesday afternoon crash at K-42 and 119th Street West, about one half mile west of West MacArthur Road on K-42.
The KHP says a 2002 Ford Escape, driven by 45-year-old Stephanie Diell, of Dodge City, was traveling south on 119th Street as a semi traveled east on K-42 highway.
As the semi approached the intersection of 119th and K-42, the Ford Escape ran a stop sign. The semi hit the SUV on its passenger side.
Diell died from her injuries at a Wichita hospital, the KHP says. The 72-year-old semi driver from Tulsa, Okla. was not injured.
