Accident in Beaver County Sends 2 to the Hospital

An injury accident occurred  Friday night at 11:30pm  on County Road NS148 one tenth of a mile north of County Road EW19 which is four and nine tenths of a mile south and eight and a half miles east of Beaver,Oklahoma.

A 1984 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Paul Lynn Igou,  44, of Beaver, Oklahomawn was heading  north on County Road NS 148.  Igou stated he swerved to the right to avoid a deer.

The pickup departed the roadway to the right, the driver over corrected to the left and departed the roadway to the left, over corrected to the right and rolled approximately one time.

A passenger,Mindy Jo Lee, 41, of Beaver, Oklahoma was ejected from the vehicle and transported by private vehicle to Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Oklahoma and then flown by Apollo Mediflight to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was admitted for arm, leg, and trunk internal injuries and is listed in stable condition.

The driver was transported by private vehicle to Beaver County Memorial Hospital in Beaver, Oklahoma where he was treated and released.

Seat belts were not in use at the time of the accident.
