USD 480 Board Approves Changes to School Calendar for 2020-2021

The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening at 6:30pm and approved the school calendar for the 2020-2021 School Year. Additions to the calendar is a Teacher Workday, on December 18th, with deletions including Presidents Day, February 15th. School will be in session and there will be no professional learning day in April.

LHS has requested graduation be moved to a Sunday afternoon rather than Saturday morning. The graduation date change will be effective for the 2020-2021 school year. The graduation date for the current school year remains unchanged–Saturday, May 16th.

Also approved at the meeting was the Zonar Fleet Management system. This system provides GPS tracking and reporting of all USD 480 vehicles. Cost of the system is $37,512.00.

Policy revisions were also approved as was the update on the Facilities Project list.
