Seward Wraps Up Regular Season with Loss to #5 Butler

The #5 Butler Grizzlies topped the Seward County Saints 6-2 in women’s soccer Saturday night at Redskin Field.  This was a 1-1 tie at the half.  Juliana Salazar scored on a free kick.  But the Grizzlies poured it on in the second half 5-1.  Butler is 15-2-2 and finishes second in the KJCCC at 12-1-1.  Seward is 7-8-3 overall and finishes 4-7-3 in the Jayhawk.  That is good enough to host a Region 6 Tournament game Saturday at 2pm at Redskin Field.
