Liberal sophomore swimmer Jyzelle Juarez is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Juarez set school records at last week’s meet in Newton in the 50 free (29.17) and the 200 free (2:40.71).  She also owns the school record in the 100 free at 1:09 from last year.  She is also a key member of the medley relay, the 400 relay, and the 200 relay.  Jyzelle is also involved in Liberal High School’s choir and painting club.  Juarez and the Lady Red swim team competes at the WAC swim meet at Garden City on Thursday.
