USD 480 Approves MOU with the City of Liberal and Seward County Community College

The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening at East Campus and approved the bid for the replacement of bathroom flooring at Cottonwood and Sunflower elementary schools from Scantlin’s Furniture in the amount of $134,300.00. The Board also approved the updates to the ESOL Endorsement Tuition Agreement as presented and approved the ESOL Endorsement Tuition Payment.

Early graduation applications were approved for Jayden Trejo Esqueda, Ismael Vieyra, and Jonathan Rivera Robles. At the meeting the Board approved the purchase of the Marzano Resources Critical Concepts Proficiency Scales in the amount of $65,065.00 and approve the agreement for Skyward ERP Software in the amoumt of $173,306.00.

The Board of Education signed a Memorandum Of Understanding that shows that USD 480 is supportive of a collaborative effort between the City of Liberal, SCCC and USD 480 in building a facility that will offer benefits to the community, SCCC and USD 480.

Also approved was an HVAC coil for the small gym at Liberal High School from Lee’s Heating and Air in the amount of $11,598.00.
