Update from Seward County Fire:

Andrew Lane Fire – start 02/17/26 @ 3:53pm estimated 5,000 acres, 2 residential structures lost, 1 out building. Numerous vehicles, farm equipment, and fence damaged. Damage assessments are on going. State resources 2 type 6 strike teams, two aircraft, Kansas Forest Service Mod Crew and Kansas Forest Service DFMO assigned with local resources.

As of 02/20/26 @ 7pm all state resources released. Seward County Firefighters will continue patrols until they are not longer needed
