The City of Liberal’s tree match program is now open for the Fall season. Trees can be ordered at the Administration Office at City Hall, located at 324 N. Kansas Ave. Trees can be purchased during the following hours, while supplies last:
- Wednesday, August 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, August 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, August 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This program is for residents in Liberal’s city limits. Trees are $30 each with a purchase limit of four trees per residence. Trees are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This year’s varieties include: Autumn Blaze Maple, Red Sunset Maple, Yoshino Cherry, Shumard Oak, and Lace Bark Elm.
