The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has released the latest to the resurfacing project along U.S. 83 in Seward County,
These traffic changes will start Wednesday, October 19.
Traffic lights will still be enforced on the north side of the bridge. The lights will remain between 15th Street and Tucker Road. The southbound lanes will be closed for repairs.
On the south side of the bridge, the contractor will close the southbound lane of traffic.
Traffic will remain in the northbound lane and the contractor will move the southbound lane of traffic onto the turning lane while working in the southbound lane between U.S. 54 and 5th Street. Please note this will restrict all the sideroad streets and businesses in this area to right in right out only.
The traveling public should be aware of delays of up to 15 minutes and a reduction of the speed limit.
