Winners Announced For SCCC/ATS Car Show

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School presented Peopleź??s Choice Awards to individuals at the Car Show recently.

Winners in the classic car division was Elaine Fritzson with her 1935 Pontiac coupe, first; Steve and Kimberly Chaloupek 1957 Chevy Belair, second; and Kay and Aaron Epp, 1962 Chevy corvette, third.

In the muscle car division Gary Riley, was first, with his 1966 Chevy Chevelle; Jason Abel, second, 1968 Chevy Camaro; and Alan Thornburg, third, 1929 Plymouth GTX.

In the street rods division, Gene Davis, was first with his 1937 Chevy Corvette; Michael Riedel, second, 2003, Chevy Corvette; and Taressa Kaup, third, 1980 Chevy Camaro.

Benny Alvidrez won the low rider competition with his 199 Chevy and Carol Beckwith, won the import division with her 2008 Honda S-2000, followed by J.T. Beckwith, 2007 Honda element.

In the motorcycle division, Lana Gudgel was first, 2008 Harley deluxe; Paul Jenkins, second, 1958 Harley Duo Glide; Paul Hood, third, 1941 Harley 45.

In the pickup division, Len Lovatoź??s 1954 3100 was first, followed by Chris Staples, second, 1955 Ford; Matt Esarey, third, 2007 Dodge power wagon.

In the tractor division, Gene Bransgrove was first with his 1956 JD-70.

The Presidentź??s Award went to Rick Schafferź??s 1965 Chevy Corvette.
