Voter ID Bill Moves Through The Senate

-Kansas Senate approved a bill to require
voters to show photo identification at the polls by a 36-3 vote.
The measure also would require people registering to vote for
the first time in Kansas to provide proof of citizenship, starting
in 2013.
Of the 32 Republicans, 30 voted "yes," one voted "no" and
one did not vote.
Of the eight Democrats, six voted "yes" and two voted "no."
