Vehicle Crashes in Stevens County After a Police Chase

A Liberal man is in the hospital after fleeing from police west of Liberal. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Lawrence Craig Campfield was driving a 2002 Tahoe west on Stevens County Road C when the vehicle rolled and crashed. Campfield was injured and taken to Southwest Medical Center. The crash occurred Tuesday night just before 10 p.m. 10 miles west of Liberal on Road C and 26 Road.
