Vasquez Leads Liberal at WAC Tennis

Brock Kappelmann - October 2, 2018 12:18 pm

Garden City took team honors followed by Hays and Dodge City. Great Bend
finished 4th and Liberal 5th.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles–Rebecca Irby went 0-4 on the day. Fatigue from last weekend’s
McPherson tournament clearly raised its ugly head.
#2 Singles–Priscilla Vasquez went 3-1 and found herself in a 3-way tie for
1st. Mathmatically, she earned the 2nd place medal.
#1 Doubles–Riddhi Bombaywala & Jazzy Monge went 0-4 on the day.
#2 Doubles–Jaciana Rivera & Alejandra Ortega went 0-4 on the day.

The girls will get a couple of days of much needed rest before they travel
to Dodge City for Regionals on Friday.
