UPDATE: Only 1 Suspect Remains At Large

On Saturday, March 28, 2015 at approximately 11:29 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 2nd Street and Princeton Ave for a report of a vehicle being shot at. Responding officers located the vehicle occupied by a 36 year old male and 34 year old female. Investigating officers learned that passengers of a silver, Chevy Silverado crew cab pickup pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle and fired shots at them. No injuries were reported.

On Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at approximately 9:13 p.m., officers received a tip from a citizen who knew the location of a suspect connected with this incident. Within minutes, officers located 26 year old Guadalupe Perez consistent with the location provided. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The other suspect, 19 year old Jesus Carrasco is still being sought in connection with this incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
