Tribune Man Dies As Result Of Motorcycle Accident

KSCB News - June 10, 2014 8:24 am

A Tribune man died Monday morning of multiple injuries he sustained May 19 in a motorcycle accident.

William Grubb, 37, died at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita from injuries he sustained in a near motorcycle collision with his brother, Jeremy Grubb, 36, Tribune, who died May 21 from his injuries.

The brothers were each riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Kansas Highway 96 on the night of May 19, 11 miles west of Leoti.

For an unknown reason, Jeremy Grubb unexpectedly braked hard, and that led William Grubb to swerve, narrowly missing Jeremy, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. William Grubb lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to drive off the road into a ditch before flipping off the vehicle.

According to the KHP, Jeremy Grubb’s motorcycle fell on its right side and slid for a distance down the road.
