Trejo Wins Weight Division at Tucumcari

Four Redskins brought home medals from Tucumcari Saturday. Elwin Trejo led Liberal by going undefeated and winning the heavyweight division. Three teammates reached the finals and placed second. Second place finishers were Emanuel Rivero (138), Emanuel Peralta (145), and Misael Monarrez (182). Carlos Mora was 3-2 and 152. Lathan Rose at 113 and Otto Cruz at 160 went 1-2. Team scores were not kept. LHS competes at Holcomb for a dual January 5 and a tournament at Maize January 7.
