Trash At The Bash, Recycle, Reuse, Redecorate

The Liberal Chamber of Commerce held their annual Chamber Banquet Saturday night at Liberal High
School. The theme for this years "Trash at the Bash, Recycle, Reuse, Redecorate", and many Corporate Tables decorated and many attendees came dressed in accordance with the evenings theme. A prime rib dinner, with meat donated by National Beef Packing Company was served. The Chamber also recognized several businesses and individuals throughout the evening. In the Table Decorating contest,Honorable Mention went to United Wireless and the Liberal Young Professionals. Tied for third was The Leader and Times and Southern Pioneer Electric.Edward Jones – Greg Bird was in second, and the winner was National Beef Packing Company. Liberal Good Samaritan Society won the United Wireless Peoples Choice Award. Jessica Malin and Katelynn Draper were declared the Best Dressed Individuals, while Dora Davis and Davina Henry were the Best Dressed Pair. Jerry Harding received his Past President’s plaque and scrapbook. The annual "Friend of the Chamber Award was presented to Electric Motor Service, and Rhonda Crawford won the #1 Ambassador Award. John Malin was the Chambers 2013 Merit Award winner. Following the banquet portion of the evening, the audience moved to the Jim Maskus Auditorium where they viewed the Chamber’s "A Year In Review" video and then the audience was entertained to the high energy musical entertainment of Vocal Trash of Dallas/Fort Worth Texas.
