Three KJCCC Programs Fall to Division Two

Three KJCCC women’s basketball schools and two men’s basketball schools will fall to divison 2 next season. Kansas City, Fort Scott, and Allen County join Highland and Johnson County in division 2 in women’s basketball. Kansas City and Fort Scott join Highland and Johnson on the men’s side.

The moves leave the Jayhawk East with five division one teams in women’s basketball and six in men’s basketball. The Jayhawk West will remain with nine division 1 teams. It is unknown whether the KJCCC will reallign the divisions or leave them with an unbalanced number in the east and west.
