Thirteen Women Compete for Pancake Day Title

Thirteen women will be competing in the 61st annual running of the International Pancake Day Race which will be helld at 11:55am Tuesday February 16. Those runners are:

Mikayla Knudsen, age 20

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School student/works at First

Baptist Day Care

Mikayla has competed in the International Race twice before, in 2008 and

2009.

Cheri Bevis, age 32

Teacher/coach at West Middle School.

Cheri competed in 2003 and 2004, taking first place and winning over Olney

both years.

Alison Bridget Chambers, age 25

Drama Instructor, Seward County Community College/Area Technical School

This is her first time to compete.

Heather Grant, age 21

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School student/works at

SCCC/ATS bookstore

This is her first time to compete.

Tandilee Fletcher, age 18

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School student/works in

Pharmacy Dept. at Dillon’s Grocery

This is her first time to compete.

Devon Box, age 20

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School student/works as a

ballet instructor at Dance Images

This is her first time to compete.

Michille Bryan, age 30

Secretary at Central Office, USD 480

This is her first time to compete.

Nicole Schartz, age 25

Teacher, USD 480

This is her first time to compete.

Brandi Fowler, age 31

Teacher, West Middle School

This is her first time to compete.

Leslie Gutierrez, age 26

Secretary, West Middle School

This is her first time to compete.

Tiffany Bottum, age 30

Teacher, West Middle School

Tiffany competed in 2003 and 2004.

Lindsey Moors, age 26

Accounting manager, Southwest Medical Center

This is her first time to compete.

Brooke Davies, age 22

Seward County Community College/Area Technical School student
