Term Limits Proposed For Kansas Legislature

KSCB News - January 31, 2013 4:19 pm

Kansas should limit the number of terms legislators can serve in the state house – according to a bill proposed by a freshman state senator from Pittsburg.

Republican State Senator Jacob LaTurner says he constantly hears Kansans suggesting term limits, and it would help keep the state house and senate more transparent in serving their constituents.

His senate bill would limit house members to four two-year terms and senate members to two four-year terms.
