KSCB News - October 28, 2014 8:34 am

SWMC Auxiliary Board Members Linda Staiger and Anita Compton, presented scholarships to Angela Mullins and Claudia Soto on Monday for the 2014-2015 school year. These scholarships are for $600 each. Scholarship funds come from Auxiliary dues, which are $5 per person.

Angela and Claudia are both in the nursing program at Seward County Community College. They are highly recommended by their instructors and employers. Both look forward to being employed in this area upon completion of nursing school. Scholarships are given annually by the SWMC Auxiliary. Awards are made based primarily upon the applicant’s financial needs, and on scholarship, citizenship and estimated success in his/her health field.
