Brock Kappelmann - September 16, 2016 10:14 am

Senior Tierra Stoney continued her winning ways by avenging an earlier loss
to Dodge City then beating Great Bend and Cimmaron 6-0. In an exciting
championship match, Stoney fell to Hays to finish 2nd Place. Number two
singles Valery Esqueda started off by beating Cimarron but had to scratch
her matches due to an illness. Number one doubles Rebecca Irby and Reyna
Quinones went 1-3
but gained valuable experience as a new doubles team. Number two doubles
went 0-4 losing a tie-breaker to Great Bend.
