Brock Kappelmann - April 27, 2017 5:55 am

An 87 year old Johnson woman is in the hospital after a crash Wednesday evening.  The crash occurred at about 8:15 in Stanton County 16 miles northwest of Ulysses.  The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a Peterbuilt truck was traveling east on Stanton County Road 5.  A vehicle driven by 87 year old Robbie Trussell was stopped at the intersection of Big Bow Grade and County Road 5.  Trussell failed to yield at the stop sign and drove under the trailer of the truck.  She was injured and taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City.
