South and Eisenhower Announce Opening Practice Schedules

 *ALL sports (football, volleyball, and cross country) practices beginning
August 15th will be held at WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL until further notice – USD
480 is waiting for the final approval from the city of Liberal for
occupancy of the new building. *USD 480 would like to thank parents, students, and staff for your continued
patience and flexibility during the transition from WMS to Eisenhower this

USD 480 Middle School Fall Sports
Middle School fall sports begin practices on Monday, August 15th.
All participants must complete a physical prior to their first practice.

Eisenhower Middle School Warriors
7/8 Cross County
­ EMS Cross country first practice outside school doors at
3:30 pm on August 15, with parent meeting following practice at 5:30 pm.
7th Grade VB
Parent meeting Tuesday, August 9 at 5:30 at LHS Library.
8th Grade VB
Grade 8 VB Preseason conditioning 10:30­12:30 pm and 3:30­5:30 pm at the
high school. Practice starts August 15 with times to be announced at conditioning.
7/8 Football
­ Pad check out Aug 10 and 11 from noon to 1 pm at WMS. First practice Aug 15 at
8­9:30 am at EMS. Parent Meeting is August 15 at 5:30pm.
South Middle School Apaches
7/8 Cross County ­
Cross country will practice from 7:30am until 9am at SMS track beginning
August 15th.
7th Grade VB ­
ractice from 6:00am to 8:00am at SMS Gymnasium.
8th Grade VB ­
from 3:30pm until 5:30pm at SMS Gymnasium.
7/8 Football ­
Football practice begins at 9:00am on August 15th at SMS.
